What weight should I choose?
About 10% of your body weight. Between sizes, go lighter.
Is it too warm for summer?
The blanket is breathable and moisture-wicking on its own. The minky cover adds softness and warmth, so in warmer months, use the blanket without it.
Can I wash it?
The cover is machine washable. Spot clean the blanket itself.
Is it noisy when I move?
No. Glass microbeads are finer and quieter than plastic pellets, so the blanket doesn't rustle when you turn over.
Is it suitable for children?
No. Stillweight is designed for adults. At 15 and 18 lb, it is too heavy for children. Never use any weighted blanket with infants or toddlers. A weighted blanket should weigh no more than about 10% of the user's body weight, and the user must be able to remove it on their own.
Do the beads clump?
No. Each pocket is stitched closed, so the beads stay where they are.
